Whether your pet is undergoing a routine spay or neuter, or a more complex surgery, we take every surgical procedure very seriously at Bayshore Animal Hospital. We do all we can to ensure the health and safety of your pet before, during, and after his or her operation. Your doctor will order pre-surgery bloodwork to make sure that your pet can tolerate anesthesia and will follow strict anesthesia guidelines established by AAHA. Members of our caring team will closely monitor your pet’s condition at all times to make sure that your pet’s procedure goes smoothly.
Our experienced doctors can perform a wide range of general, orthopedic, and dental surgeries for companion animals, including (but not limited to):
- broken bone repair
- foreign object removal
- tooth extraction
- tumor removal
- Cruciate Ligament Repair/ Orthopedic surgeries
Our surgical facilities are impeccably clean, and we use the latest tools and techniques. Your pet will receive the precise amount of medications and vital fluids needed, and we use warming blankets to prevent your pet from suffering hypothermia during surgery.
We will thoroughly explain any post-operative care that your pet will need, and we encourage you to call us post-surgery if you have any concerns or questions about your pet’s recovery.
